Must-Try Items at the Yard House in Waikiki

As mentioned, the menu at the Yard House is extensive, with something for just about everyone, but with our recommendations, you can be sure you’re sampling some of the best on offer.

Yard House Waikiki Appetizers

  • Poke Nachos
  • Cali Roll Stack

There are more than two dozen appetizer options, but the poke nachos are the standout favorite, thanks in part to the fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Expect diverse textures and flavors with marinated raw ahi tuna topped on a bed of crispy wontons with serrano peppers, sesame seeds, avocado, nori, cilantro, and green onions.

We also like the Cali roll stack, a deconstructed take on the popular California roll, but unlike most, it includes real crab, not the imitation stuff.

Yard House Waikiki Mains

  • Bone-In Rib-Eye & Shrimp
  • Mac + Cheese
  • Whiskey Glazed Salmon
  • Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna

While you can’t go wrong with a burger and a beer, if you’re craving surf ‘n turf, the Bone-In Rib-Eye & Shrimp is the way to go, with a 20 oz. steak, shrimp, and sides that include grilled baby broccoli and parmesan mashed potatoes.

The Mac + Cheese is a perennial favorite comfort food with white truffles, mushrooms, chicken, bacon, parmesan cheese, and a panko cheddar crust.

If you like salmon, you’ll love the Whiskey-Glazed Salmon with multiple sides, including roasted carrots, baby broccoli, and those amazing parmesan mashed potatoes.

The Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna is another one of the most popular dishes here, seared rare with sesame seeds, crispy garlic, jasmine rice, charred baby broccoli, baby tomatoes, and a creamy ponzu sauce.

Yard House Waikiki Desserts

  • Chocolate Lava Cake
  • Bread Pudding with Crème Anglaise

It may not be easy to save room, but if you’re a chocolate lover, the Chocolate Lava Cake is to die for, featuring Belgian chocolate cake, a warm ganache center, and vanilla ice cream.

Vegetarians might want to go for the Bread Pudding with Crème Anglaise, which includes vanilla ice cream, vanilla bean and caramel sauces, and powdered sugar.
